This page is primarily aimed to make up for my lack of discipline to stay in touch with my friends and family. I dislike mass e-mails and cannot bring up the time and attitude to write to all my friends out there.

But even in the first days of writing, I find it very relaxing and entertaining. New categories are created regularly, like the Fortune category which reflects upon real fortune cookie messages or things I read or heard somewhere which could or should find their way into one such cookie.

Though most pages are in English, you will find German post and Polish quotes. I hope my mostly German-speaking family won’t be too disappointed but I will try to provide more for them in the near future. As for Polish, I can’t bring myself to torture my first language and for now refrain from writing own stuff. My melancholic moods, so typical for a Slavic man, only amplify my love for Polish poetry, so whenever a poem touches me in a certain way, I will probably post it here.

Browsing through archive folders on numerous hard drives, I found some early writing. Mostly unusable things which I am always on the verge of destroying… but somehow never do. Who knows, some of these might find their way to Wrayfield’s Wreckage.
